Humanising lives-is a not-for-profit organisation
Since 2015, the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) have been calling to “transform our world”. With 17 goals, 270 targets and measured though 230 indicators, the SDGs are complex, and prioritising and implementing them is challenging for many countries.
Humanising lives believes state of good mental health and wellbeing enables people to realise their own potential, to cope with stress, to work productively and to contribute to their families and communities.
Mental health problem can be a global barrier to sustainable development. Therefore Focussing on “mental and emotional wellbeing”, we help unburden the people from stress and traumas that are brought by the generic normalizing of the struggles of regular life, resulting in poor mental, emotional, and physical health.
We also extend social support to ensure that everyone especially those with the fewest resources holds a good state of mental health and emotional wellbeing to secure opportunities to succeed in life and social/personal relationships, being able to realize their abilities, cope with the normal stresses of life, work productively, and contribute to family and community.
In doing so we aspire to act as an anchor to ensure the turbulent water doesn’t wash off anybody’s will to live, create, and prosper.
